Creative Crop

Hello friends!

As per my usual weekly Sunday post, I have a few projects to share. My first card was inspired by the challenge at StampTV Creative Crop. The stamp set I used is Gina K's Peony Wishes.

I'm also linking this to Mod Squad Fall FestWinnie and Walter WCMDJoy Clair WCMD (used partial stamp as a frame) and Uniko.

I had fun with this card and got all inky playing with the Mini Mumsy stencil from The Crafter's Workshop.

I'm linking this to Winnie and Walter WCMD and Joy Clair.

Happy Birthday

For this card I used Altenew Wild Hibiscus and I thought it teamed up perfectly with Essentials by Ellen paper pack Modern Graphics which I used for the background.

I'm entering Essentials by Ellen MIUM and Winnie and Walter WCMD.

Christmas Tag

Next up is a mixed media Christmas Tag with lots of layers: DO inks, texture paste, embossing, cheesecloth and Cheery Lynn Poinsettia die cuts. To add sparkle, I dipped the little foam balls in glossy accents and then in clear
rock candy (and they almost look like candy balls ☺)

Brush Art Floral

I love Altenew's Brush Art Floral stamp set and whenever I use it I make multiple cards.

A simple CAS card

a few more ....

and here I used a stem image to create the background

I'm playing along in the following challenges: Winnie and WalterJoy ClairHLS CAS Challenge and Stamplorations CAS Challenge.

That's it from me until next time, have a great week!

Thank You

Hello friends and Happy Sunday!

I had such fun yesterday celebrating World Card Making Day and have a few cards I'd like to share.

I used Gina K's Daisy Delight, colored with SN markers, gold embossed the sentiment and the edges of the background panel.

I'm linking this to the following challenges:

You Are Altogether Wonderful

For my next card I used Penny Black the unfolding stamp and distress inks.  The sentiment is from Rubbernecker.

I'm linking this to the following challenges:

Next up is my 'rainbow' card for the following challenges:

The background for this card was an experiment which didn't go according to plan so it ended in my unused project box. I thought it would be the perfect showcase for the lovely bold hello die (and the die cut letters have already been used on a second card).  Don't you love it when you can make 2 cards from one die :)

I'm playing along in the following challenges:

Joy Clair - card for a friend (I'm sending this to my crafting buddy Angie in celebration of WCMD), W&W WCMDMFT WCMDSSS WCMD and HLS Dies.

New Year's card

Yes ..... I know it seems a bit early for a New Year's card but it's only 84 days away ;)

A simple card with embossing, splatters and a few die cuts.

My final card for MFT WCMD and SSS WCMD

NBUS Challenge #12

Here are two cards I made over the week-end for Darnell's NBUS challenge. I've been wanting to use this stamp for ages and finally got the nudge I needed ;)

After I made this card I hopped over to Darnell's blog and was so inspired by all the humorous cards she had made I just 'had' to make one last card (this was after I had stopped laughing... head over to her blog and you'll understand).
I won't be linking this to the challenge.... it was just for fun!
So Darnell, this one's for you.  Thank you for inspiring us, entertaining us, encouraging us, and for your generosity.
You're our rainbow sprinkle ❤ .... and Hammy too, of course :)

Art Journal - "Art is"

I'm back to share two projects. First is an Art Journal Page using 2 (NBUS) stencils both from The Crafter's Workshop (Sunflower and Art Is), Brusho's and Distress Oxide Ink.

Once the sunflower had dried, I applied Distress Oxide to the background, placed the Art Is stencil on top and removed the ink with baby wipes.
For continuity I used the same stencil on the layering journal page, added light sunflower stamped images and some washi to finish it off.

Art is just another way of expressing our innermost thoughts onto concrete media. Where form and function come together in beauty, color and shape. We put our feelings and experiences onto paper, canvas, surfaces of all kinds. Allowing ourselves to release and surrender to this all encompassing force. This need to register what was today what might be tomorrow. And what was yesterday and the day before that.

Pin Sights Challenge

This card was inspired by Essentials By Ellen Pin Sights Challenge.

And here is my card:

And another entry for Simon Says Anything Goes.

That's it from me.... have a great week!
